Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
By using DrumDesk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
1. Using the site
You are welcome to read, share links to, and print the pages here for your own personal use, and to use the tools as often as you like, free of charge and without an account.
You may not copy substantial parts of the content and republish it as your own, resell access to it, or use automated systems to scrape the site at a rate that interferes with other visitors. Quoting a short extract with a link back is fine; wholesale copying is not.
2. Hearing safety
Both tools on this site generate audible tones. Prolonged or repeated exposure to loud sound can damage your hearing permanently.
Before using either tool, set your system volume to a comfortable level before starting playback, lead with low volume rather than high, and take regular breaks away from sound. Do not use headphones at a volume that masks other sounds around you. If a tone is uncomfortable, stop and lower the volume rather than pushing through it.
If you have a hearing condition or any concern about your hearing, consult a qualified professional before using the audio tools.
3. No professional advice
The guides on this site are general information about playing and maintaining drums. They are not a substitute for in-person tuition from a qualified teacher, nor for the advice of a professional instrument technician, and they are not medical or audiological advice of any kind.
Gear recommendations reflect our own judgement about what suits a particular use. They are not statements of objective fact, and products change over time. Always check current specifications and prices before buying, and make sure anything you buy is appropriate for your own situation.
4. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the information here accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete, correct or current, and we may change or remove any part of the site at any time, including the tools.
The site is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that the tools will work on every device or browser, or that any errors will be corrected.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DrumDesk is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools. This includes damage to your equipment, damage to your hearing, and any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of the content here.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
6. Intellectual property
The text, design, layout, code and original graphics on this site belong to DrumDesk and are protected by copyright. Product names and brand names mentioned in the guides are the trademarks of their respective owners, and their use here is descriptive — it does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those companies.
7. Third-party links
Where the site links to other websites, those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the date at the top will be updated whenever it changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@drumdesk.net with “Terms” in the subject line.
