DrumDesk is run by a very small team, so we read everything and answer most things. Email is the only channel we monitor.
Write to hello@drumdesk.net and put the subject in the first line so it lands in the right pile.
What we are glad to hear about
- Corrections. If something in a guide is wrong, out of date, or contradicted by your own experience, tell us. Include the page and, if you can, what you think the right answer is. Corrections are made quickly and we will say what changed.
- Tool problems. If a tool does not play sound, does not work on your device, or behaves oddly, tell us which browser and device you are on. That is usually enough for us to reproduce it.
- Guide requests. If there is a question you keep failing to find a straight answer to, ask. Requests are one of the main things that decide what gets written next.
- Gear suggestions. If a product deserves to be on a buying guide, or should be removed from one, tell us why. Reasons beat votes.
What we cannot help with
To save everyone time, a few things we do not do:
- Free personalised tuition. We cannot assess your playing, grade your technique or write you a custom practice plan by email. The guides and the tools are the answer to that, and they are free.
- Paid link placement or sponsored posts. We do not sell links, guest posts or coverage of any kind.
- PageRank or SEO enquiries. We do not run a link exchange programme and we have nothing to offer on that front.
- App or product support. If a drum app or a piece of hardware is broken, the maker is the only one who can fix it. We are not affiliated with any manufacturer.
Response times
Corrections and tool bug reports are usually answered within a few days. Guide requests get read but often do not get an individual reply — if a request shapes a future article, it will show up in the writing rather than in your inbox.
Privacy
We do not sell, share or rent your email address, and we do not add anyone who contacts us to a mailing list. If you would like to know what is collected when you visit the site, the details are in our privacy policy.
